We teach general Lithuanian for daily life — the language you actually use in Vilnius.

  • Introduce yourself and talk about your background
  • Answer and understand basic questions
  • Handle everyday conversations
  • Communicate in simple work situations
  • Order food, shop, and manage daily interactions
  • Read and understand simple texts
  • Write short messages and fill in basic documents
  • Use Lithuanian in everyday life, with a solid base to keep building on
Beyond the classroom

Additional support.

What you get on top of the weekly class.

  • Social speaking classes with native Lithuanians
  • Flashcards as homework — around 800 words of vocabulary across the course
  • Continuous guidance and feedback throughout the course
Social Speaking Club

Your first real chance to speak Lithuanian with Lithuanians.

In Social Speaking classes, Lithuanians help international learners take their first steps in speaking Lithuanian in a friendly, supportive environment. Even if it is your first time saying a few Lithuanian words, you are welcome here.

For many students, this is their first real chance to speak Lithuanian with Lithuanians. Along the way, we share cultures, traditions, stories, and sometimes even traditional food — making language learning feel natural, social, and fun.
